I know I always think my current batch is my best yet but I really think this one will be, this time (excepting my AG Citra Pale Ale and Bourbon Barrel Porter, which would both be hard to beat). It's an extract, 5 gal:

8 oz Carapils, steeped in 4 gal water at 165F x 20 min.

Boil:

3.5# Pilsen LME
2# Light Pilsen DME
1# Wheat DME

0.5 oz Cascade @ 40 min
0.5 oz Cascade @ 15 min
1.25 oz Bitter Orange peel @ 15 min
1.25 oz Lemon Peel @ 15 min
1 oz Citra @ flameout

2 oz Citra in hop tea with 2 rinses, added to fermenter

1 packet rehydrated Notty

OG = 1.058

If the smell from the fermenter is anything to go by, HeeHeeHee! I'm gonna have a winner!! :lol:

:give:

But I'm drinking my Vineyard Ale and it's pretty darn good! My best yet!

Just reading the recipe sounds quenching and makes me what to (think about) cutting the grass.

Way to go, li'l sis!

Hey, have you given FedoraDave's American Ale a spin yet? If not, what are you waiting for?
