I just downloaded this app on my iPhone today and I am so pleased with it! It is a very easy-to-use recipe development program, with an inventory management section. It's easy, no charts or spreadsheets. Of course if you like charts and spreadsheets this won't be for you, but it might be a quick and dirty preview to see if your recipe is worth pursuing. I found it easier than BeerSmith for my level of involvement. Easy to play with the parameters and compare to the beer style you're looking for. $1.99, so it's cheap, too. Buy it once and it downloads to your iPhone and iPad.

Thanks for the heads-up. Knowing the options is always a plus.

Me, I like to stick with QBrew and the BJCP Style Guidelines, if I'm really determined to brew as close to style as possible.

Also, I'm so technically hopeless, especially when it comes to phone apps, it would probably just make me frustrated.

Laugh it up guys. But when John and I use our phones to chalk the wheel of the car to change a tire, we'll still be able to call a wrecker with it if needed.
We could probably kill a bear with it too and still call for help.

BrewPal is an awesome tool... Been using it since 2012. It is super convienant & reliable. Only works on iOS devices though.

You can also put in the desired carb level for your recipe>temperature of your keezer= psi setting needed for your forced carbonation.

And my phone can call the Enterprise too!

QBrew has remained my standard for keeping track of the "official" version of recipes and brewing results, since I like its print format and ease of customizing the ingredient database. But I like BrewPal for a variety of purposes: portability while working on recipe ideas, quick recipe adjustments while brewing, taking notes from recipe articles, scaling recipes, etc. BrewPal is a great accessory.
