They don't make enough of ANYTHING to get me to do that. I'd rather die by snake (and I HATE SNAKES) than to have to do that.

I'll be having a few right now, just to loosen my sphincter from just watching that. ![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

I used to watch some of the wingsuit videos and think of how cool that would be to do. I had a facination with Jeb Corliss partially because he is so well spoken and there are lots of videos of him planning the jumps and he puts so much thought into them.
The other night I watched Wingsuit Warrior on Netflix. It's about Jeb recovering from and accident so he can go back and jump at the same spot. That pretty much ended my thoughts of wingsuit jumping. If someone who is that skilled and puts that much planning into crashes because he made one wrong choice during his flight which resulted in him impacting the ground I would probably manage to end up crashing into the plane I was jumping out of.

Something like base jumping off the Gauley bridge in WV would be more then enough insanity for me... No amount of brew could convince me to get into a wing suit and go anywhere near rock faces / cliff walls / bridge buzzing... that's just stupid shit.

I've watched this video before. And I've seen the one where Corliss smacks the edge of the bridge with his legs. Why he still has them I'll never know. But whenever I watch this particular video the same thought keeps going through my mind; "Sometimes you're the fly, sometimes you're the windshield."
There are two types of wing suit fliers; Those who have crashed and those who are about to crash.

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

I will NEVER jump from a plane, bungee jump, fly with a wingsuit... Hell, I even had trouble standing on a glass bottom observation deck in the Toronto space needle, or whatever they call it.

I can't seem to get it to work correctly.
I do wonder if that guy speed himself judging by the vapor trail as he fly through that gap.
