Finally, after some emails with Stone and the local distributor, these showed up today.
Thanks my RedBEERd who continues to be my beer mule for going out of his way today and grabbing a few for us to enjoy.
I'll post a review when it's been thru the kidney and bladder. I hope I'm not in for a let down. Not all the reviews have been stellar.

Rumors are that will be tested at tonites preseason game.
The menu is Ghost, Racer 5, Unapolgetic and some dessert beer. The after dinner drink might be a Dogfish Head 90 Minute.

I should put this in the Reviews area but what the hay, here's fine.
So, not extraordinary but exceptional. Typical Stone beer, lots of hop character. The nose didn't seem to be as in your face as normal. There was a lot going on there but no hop stood out.
From what I've read, this was their first IPA with Biscuit malt (I did 7 of those last year) and I really didn't notice it. For all the hoppiness, it was very smooth. I did get the tropical notes and at first, after being in an ice chest of a bit, it was way too cold for me so after a trip to get some Chinese food, it settled a bit, warmed up and was much more flavorful.
You have to close your eyes and let your taste buds take over and you get all the hop variances. Even a tad bit of coconut from some of the experimental hops.
This is a very enjoyable beer and while it may not knock you tongue over, it is a Stone and we all know that family is a real mother for ya so I give it 2 thumps and 2 toes up. RedBEERd gave up his but we still have 2 each so..........read between the lines. And, if you see it, grab one or two and you won't be disapponted.
$8.49 here.

Coincidental timing -- I just polished off a bottle of this, myself. Picked it up the other night and apparently paid a premium for it -- it was $9.99 at a store in CT.
I will agree with much of what Beer-Lord has said. No single hop stood out, and it was perhaps not the typical Stone knock-your-face-off hop bomb. But very enjoyable, regardless.
I found the aroma to have surprisingly earthy notes. But there was a lot more to it than just that. If I had a criticism, it would be "muddled," perhaps.
The major takeaway for me, though, was the drinkability. Bitter? Absolutely. But the finish is exceptionally clean and dry. The beer hides its high ABV (8.8%) well.
Stunningly clear, surprisingly light in color, and carbonation/head were spot-on for the style.
And the bottle art is cool, too -- a nice addition to my collection.

Addendum: check out the" Brewing With Style" podcast on The Brewing Network to hear all three head brewers discussing the creation of this beer. Based on their description of what they were looking to create, they hit the mark -- and had a blast doing it.
