Okay, how do you get the "spoiler" tab to work?

This is why I hate technology, kids. It OUGHT to be as simple as pressing a button, and the button is right there.

I press the button and see the "

" code. I type what I want between the brackets, and when I preview it, there's no actual spoiler, but the bracketed code shows up in my text instead.

I swear to God. I find almost all of this stuff counter-intuitive, which must mean, since they can train chimps to do this shit, all my intuitions must be wrong.

Honestly, I'm not a technophobe; I just know when I'm licked.

Easy fix.

After the first equals sign, put what you want to call the spoiler, like My Beer. Or erase the equal sign if you want to have it say Spoiler.

Ah, mercy buckets, Rick. That did the trick.

Once it's explained to me, I can see what needs to be done and why. I just can't make that connection myself.

Ok you two, please hold my hand a walk me through this. I'm reading and doing just what you say(I think) and can't get it to work. Some chimps are just smarter than others.

not that I know, but in the first "spoiler" it has a "=" in it... don't you have to remove that one little bit?

Jeff, write it so that it reads like this

Code: Select all
Centennial Blonde
Don't put quotation marks around the title of the spoiler. Just write it directly after the equals sign. Should come out looking like this below.
Naked Cat Brewery On Tap
Centennial Blonde

Got it, I'm one smart chimp. I'm coming down from the tree. Watch out it won't be graceful.

Lol you got it so that the title is Centennial Blonde, but nothing else pops out when you click on the button to open the spoiler.

I suspect that's because Naked Cat Brewery is before the spoiler section...

After the equals sign in LEFT BRACKET spoiler=, you want to put what you call the section that is hidden, i.e. the words that you want to appear instead of the word "spoiler". So yours should read:

LEFT BRACKET spoiler=NakedCatBrewery RIGHT BRACKET

After the bracket, you put your list of brews, however long you want it.

At the end of your list, you put LEFT BRACKET /spoiler RIGHT BRACKET to end things.

Edit - Never mind...

Thanks again guys, I'm bookmarking this cause I know one day I'll need this info again. Computers and me are not a good mix.
In fact if you have problems with your computer it's probably due to something I've done on my end.
