You don't need to go completely away from wheat. In a variety of styles, I like the combination of smoothness and graininess that I get from a minor fraction of wheat.

Me too... I keep a 3.3lb canister of Wheat LME and one of Munich LME for use as additions to a lot of brews I do.

Handy to have around and plays well in a lot of beer styles.

Now you see there that was a big Borg fail! We need to call a meeting of the collective on your behalf because all responses were in favor of the ingredient over your rut and what you needed was a boost of support to get you moved onto a change in style momentarily.

Let's talk about your wheat doldrums and see if we can get some fire back into those brewing genes of yours. I can't brew at all right now now so I want to see you get re-invigorated.

How about an amber or a rye? What do you like for this time of year ? I'm sure we can come up with some recipes to entice you.
