Storing a lagered beer.

I needed my lager fridge for a schwarzbier recipe this weekend, so I had to take the bottles of
my Grolsch out.
I had lagered them for about three months, so I am sure they are ready.
My question is, do I have to store them cold or can I just leave them in the box on the basement floor?
Thanks BORG!

I have always stored my lagers cold. They are left out for the 3 week carbing period then back into the fridge for the rest of their lives. I'm not sure if it will hurt you if you store warm for a few weeks...someone with more experience will chime in I'm sure.

I've only done 1 true lager and after they were done (about 8-10 weeks) I didn't have room to put them back in a cooler and left about 16 out for another month or so and the last ones tasted as good as the first. I still was able to keep them at about 60-65 degrees during that period which was as low as I could.
Sounds like they should be fine.
I'm in the same boat so I am hoping for a spare fridge soon.

Just think about BMC, they're lagers and stored/sold/shipped warm. One of them is even advertised as "cold filtered"!

This was my thinking, too. Once it's been lagered at a proper temperature for a proper length of time, I can't see a warmer temperature messing it up, unless it's ridiculously warm. But 65 or so shouldn't be a problem.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not an expert on lagers, I'm just trying to apply a little logic to the situation. If someone with more lager experience, and/or expert documentation proves me wrong, I'll be happy to be edumacated on the subject, since I may be in the same situation some time down the road.
