It's on! No time to brew on Sundays for many of us since it's game time. So, take your hard earned work with you wherever you go and enjoy some homebrew while watching the games.
Good luck Fantasy Folks!

Nothing like kicking off Sunday football with a nice brew session!! Boil should be done just before kickoff!

Brewed Thursday. Drank Great South Bay Splashing Pumpkin today. There were some great games in the NFL today, but we didn't see them here!

I'm still trying to figure out if what the Browns did was good or bad for the "long haul".

YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Man, did the Vikings kick butt!! I sure hope this is a good indication of the rest of the season. Course, my Colts let me down, surprise-surprise. I do love that Manning handed their butt to them.

For those that did not see... brings back bad memories of my days as a goal keeper in high school.

OUCH.

Don't care what team you pull for, but that pile of garbage needs to be suspended for at least 4 games. Still can't believe he wasn't ejected from the game!

I LOVE pro football.

I LOVE the Vikings.

But I HATE the NFL and what it's done to the sport.

I know that sounds contradictory but it is the NFL with it's continual quest for another dollar that put all those G-D commercials on during the game. I read of a study that was done recently that, on average, the football in the typical game is in play for only seventeen minutes during the sixty minutes game. And they still stretch that out to three pus hours. I flipped the game on yesterday just to catch up on the Vikes and, I shit you not, I sat through seven + minutes of commercials just to watch them come back to the game, the Vikes kicked off to the Rams and then they went to more commercials.

They've ruined the game.

The 49ers looked better than they did during pre-season but to be fair that was against the Dallas defense.
The past few years our run defense was top-notch and feared, but we looked pretty soft yesterday and that needs to tighten up.
On a better note, Kaepernick was throwing strikes to both Davis and Bouldin and our rookie RB (Hyde) looks like he will eventually be a good replacement for Gore.

Damn Seahawks look good......me thinks the road to the SuperBowl is going through Seattle again.

+1 Chuck we were commenting on that as well but more about how we couldn't believe that crap sold products. I've heard the term "Dumbing Down" before but REALLY????

I saw that PIT guy with the kick in the face this morning (we watched Miami/Pats, I didn't bother to watch Dallas, and I can never stay up for late games :( ).

Was there no penalty call/post game comment/suspension etc.; it looked pretty blatant??

I saw zero discussion on the ESPN.com when reading post game stuff there.

Love seeing Cordarrelle Patterson doing well in Minnesota. I graduated from Tennessee (where he went to school) and my wife and her family are from Forrest Lake, MN. Get the best of my school and their home state when we watch their games. Plus, he's HUGE on my fantasy team. Good player and very explosive that's for sure.

It may not be for you buy that is why I picked up NFL redzone. 3 hours of football during the 1pm EST game. 3 FULL HOURS!! No commercials or other BS. If the game had a lull they switched to another game. Commercial, different game, team about to score, that game comes on. Team scored... show me the highlight! It was well worth the money for me this year and it has only been week 1!

Personally, while watching this and seeing the 100+ replays it looked to me like he went to hurdle the guy and mis-timed it. Than the guy game up a little and got the foot to the face. I really don't think it was intentional but it definitely looked brutal and wouldn't surprise me with a fine and/or suspension.
