Oh! Ring!

Now that I have your attention...

Lost the o-ring for one of my bottle filler wands down the drain this summer, found one in my misc parts for other things. Thought I should keep some spares, so at the LHBS this week I asked, but they don't sell them (said to buy another wand...). HD had 10 for $2.47 in lots of sizes except the right one. Did not get to Lowe's yet.

Does anyone know the right size?

Hmmm, I dont think any of my wands have o-rings, but then again I may have lost them all down the drain. I really only use my MrB filler as it is the only one I have with a spring. I will check my gravity wands and see if there is one on any of them, and if so you are welcome to one.

I would give you a "GO BLUE" shout out, but even tho I am being forced to go to the game tomorrow, not really feeling it....

I'm talking about the wands with springs. Remove the tip, remove the spring. The black pusher has a small o-ring on it, which I remove and clean each time, hence it going down the drain...

I have one on each, but was going to get some spares before re-assembling the wand so I have them.

We ARE going to the game tomorrow, first one of our three games that we bought the "deal" tickets for $40 each that likely are cheaper now...

HMMM...

I take the tip off and take the spring and plunger out to soak in Star San while I'm setting up and again after bottling.
I don't remember seeing an O-ring either and they both seem to work fine/not leak.

That would be one tiny o-ring to try and find off the shelf somewhere... wait ,wait just thought of something if you have a vapor shop that sells parts there is a tiny o-ring on the "coil" in the chamber of the Vision Spinner II. I'm pretty sure I saw someone buy the o-rings at a shop I was in a few weeks ago.

I think some of the Borg need to get their eyeglass scripts checked... Yes, there is an o-ring, go look.

Brewbirds, going to a "Vapor Shop"? What's next, medicinal marijuana?

Home Depot had a big selection, some were very close in size, but not exact.

I'm with you Rick, there is an o-ring.
Plus if I could GMO, and I don't mean genetically modified organism, ;) life would be good (I did spent quite a few years in the 80s after all).
Do you have a Ace Hardware up there? That's where I found an odd size o-ring one time.

^This^ .......it's real easy to miss. I can see the separation of where the o-ring is.
