It's hard to catch up

Post by RickS »

Had to go into the hospital on Thursday the 25th, and had a Right hemicolonectomy on Friday. Got home on Monday, and am having a hard time catching up, because it is hard to sit at the computer for any length of time. I am doing fine, but I just have to rebuild the stomach muscles that contain the six-pack (keg).

Glad your recovering from this. I had re-section surgery July of 2012, blockage so bad had to have colostomy and then have it reversed in December 2012. I was sliced open 15" 3 times from July thru December and I tell you it does suck the first month or so afterwards! Just take it easy and let the surgeon and your doctor dictate to you and give it time to heal!!!!

I believe there are several Borg Members that would be willing to donate stomach fat...

Just hearing that you got home Monday and have checked in with us already has got to be a good sign! Rest up and you'll be back into the swing of things before you know it.
