It's about to get busy up in here!

Post by LouieMacGoo »

When I was in Phoenix this last summer Sam and I talked about how we could help each other out. One of the things that we came up with is making sure that BrewDemon customers have an online resource to go to if they want or need help or just want a place to talk with other brewers. Since we just happen to have this forum, ;) Sam and I felt it would be mutually beneficial for BeerBorg and BrewDemon to put an "advertisement" for the BeerBorg in with the other literature that comes with every BrewDemon home brew kit. The image below is what will be included in the BrewDemon products.

Since BrewDemon will be in several retail store chains over the holidays we will hopefully see a big influx of new members that will be looking for some help and guidance. I know that the Borg will help to assimilate these n00b brewers. To prepare for this I will be working to make sure everything is working smoothly with the website/forum and I will also be taking measures to make sure that everything continues to run smoothly with the increase in traffic.

Thanks everyone for making this such a great place and for your continued support. :barman: :thanks:

Basically they are the old Mr. Beer extracts rebranded and given a new fermenter. With the BeerBorg Discounts you can get basic Craft refill/recipes starting at $14, Craft Plus for $16 and the Signature refill/recipes for $18.50.

Also the Conical Fermenter that is normally $35 is only $27 for BeerBorg Members.

I haven't used the refills too much, but I love my LBC fermenters and would/will buy them again.

I was skeptical at first, but I honestly do think I'm making better beer in them then I was in the LBKs, and I like that I can brew true 2.5 gallon batches in them, and bottling does go faster. They are easier to clean too.

For anyone who wants a 2.5 gallon fermenter with a spigot, I would highly recommend.

I did replace my spigots with old style locking spigots. You can get them on e-bay, search for water crock spigot and you will find them.

Glad to see it Leigh and thanks again for providing us with this place. I have been anxiously waiting for the 7G fermenter since first hearing about it. I've been putting off doing larger batches till I can get my hands on it.
