And they are going to be right here in Louisville at my favorite brewery!

Here is the video the head brewer Sam Cruz posted

If you can go, you should. It's interesting to see how they make that part of this silly program. It's just a reality show but fun anyway.

If they were doing something near me I would go just to check it out, as Paul said.
It's good for entertainment value.

Are these the two Aussie guys who are always making the craziest beer in the craziest places? If it's them they're the funniest brewers I've ever watched.

Love that show. But I think those guys are Scottish. Ordered esquire channel just to get it. But now they are putting on a lot more original productions coming this fall.

Fios gave me a free weekend of Esquire channel and I got to watch all the Brew Dog episodes, what a blast! I'm going to have to look into Esquire to see how their lineup looks. Thanks for posting.

Yeah they are hilarious! This is posted as an event of Facebook and it looks like over 150 people have said they are going.. and it's not a big brewery/bar. Looks like I am getting there very early that Monday, luckily I only have one class that day so I'm out by noon!

Well the filming was tonight. It was a lot of fun, and the beer was actually really good. Being in Kentucky, of course they made a bourbon barrel ale, with the addition of mint to incorporate the mint julep aspect of Louisville, and then the base beer was a Scottish ale since the brew dogs are from there. They aged the beer in Pappy van Winkle 23 year, Sazerac, and Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels. It was a very well balanced and tasty beer. I actually managed to get an interview with Martin, who seems to have cut all of his hair off! Who knows if the interview will make it on the show, but it was pretty funny, Martin is a very quick witted guy. I also met James as well, both seemed like nice guys. Here are some pictures of the beer, them, and the interview.

I think you're the first person who said they brewed good beer. But of course, they likely had nothing to do with it.
I see someone got a haircut too! :)

We were all surprised the beer tasted good! I guess they didn't do any one thing overboard like usual (most caloric beer, beer with swamp water, etc.). This just tasted similar to a toned down mint julep in beer form

When they were here, Martin was the one not really friendly and James talked to us for a good while. They were only hours away from flying back home and I think Martin was preoccupied.
Glad the beer turned out good.

Considering it was a barrel aged beer, they did this beer probably in the spring with the brewery and filmed the in house segment yesterday is my guess. They are definitely entertaining to watch.
