Damn it! Went to Whole Foods to get a few more vanilla beans for the stout and just had to see what was there. Of course there's a guy putting out beers and he taps me on the shoulder and said, "you gotta get one of these". I had it once before, long ago and it was great. So, $20 later, it's here and will be enjoyed for my 30th anniversary at the end of the month.

I keep reading this and wondering if they reeeeally had to "put a gun to your head". I'm willing to bet, it didn't take much persuasion at all. Come on, fess up!

OK, it wasn't a gun, it was a bottle opener. I fell to my knees and gave in.

Damn... nice. I love Old Rasputin. It's my favorite RIS. Can only imagine how good it is aged in barrels.

You know I'll opine when this gets opened. I have to look at it a few times every day to be sure it's still here. It's not in the fridge yet as I'm going to wait until just a few days before I drink it to chill it.
