I couldn't agree more. In this time of crowded stores, rushed paces and crazy spending, those of us who are Christian should remember the reason for the season.
I hope all the Borg have a joyful Christmas and to our Jewish friends, Happy Hanukkah. Share peace and love with each other.

Merry Christmas, Y'all
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

I get the best of both worlds. SWMBO is Jewish, and we observe Hanukkah as well as Christmas. It gets pricey, though, since her birthday is 12/21, and mine is 12/28. Two holidays and two birthdays, all within the same week!

Have a blessed Christmastide, my Borg brothers and sisters. And may 2015 bring the world closer to that ideal of Peace on Earth, Goodwill Toward Men.

Season's Best to everyone! I'm thankful to be able to find everyone here, and hope everyone has a wonderful celebration of this special day(s). In the new year, may noone have an infected brew, everyone hit the target OG and IBU, and all experiments turn out successfully.

Merry Christmas to one and all, and to all theirs. Best hopes for the upcoming new year as well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL AND TO ALL OF YOURS!
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
