I love avocados but I know I won't like this. What's with craft brewers trying to one up others on weird beers?

Avacado is such a weird thing to me. I don't like it by itself at all. Most of my life I avoided anything with avacado on it because I was traumatized by all the "guacamole" that they have at the chain restaurants.
Finally a friend of mine took me to a local Mexican grocery store and we got a tub of the stuff that they make a few times a day. That stuff is awesome. I have since tried other items with avacado and they are quite tasty. I still can't eat it by itself but as part of something else it is often very good.
That being said I am willing to try anything so I would try the beer.

For Science!
I'd love to try it, I don't even like avacados.
Judge not a beer's moniker, but it's flavor.
Have any of you guys actually had an avacado beer before? I never have, but why the heck wouldn't I try it.
Who though Cucumber Saison sounded good? But it was!
Who in their right mind wants a Maple Bacon beer? Ok, it does sound awesome to most, but it's horrible when you get the Rogue version.
However, a local brewery made one that was amazing....
You can only assume what it will taste like based off the name, and two beers with two very similar names can taste very different.
So don't write this one off guys! Have an open mind.

But I like cucumbers so a cucumber beer would be something I would consider! The maple bacon beer, admittedly sounds odd, but bacon and maple syrup are a great combination so I would be intrigued, and would likely try it if being served at a tasting or something, but I wouldn't grab one to take home from the store. This avocado beer would be something along the same lines that I would try it at a tasting or a beer festival or something, purely out of curiosity, but wouldn't go out to pick one up to try it.
