Hello from Baltimore

Hello - got my first Mr. Beer kit for the holiday. Bought two more the next day. I several batches going looking forward to being able to drink my first home brew in a couple of weeks.

It has been great to read through all the information on the site. Such good info.

I happen to see you said you can't wait to taste your first batch in two weeks.

The instructions on some kits say that but almost all of us found that two weeks wasn't long enough for the beer to be ready.

Most of us will suggest you wait at least three weeks before chilling and to chill only one or two at a time so you can experience the effects conditioning has on flavor and body.
