Kind of a colorful story. I read much of it in the Lagunitas book. Magee suggests in the book that smoking pot helps make good beer. He also recounts getting high while driving- very irresponsible. I don't care much about pot either way. But if you want to be a rebel and smoke where it's illegal, don't complain if you get busted.

That was actually a great read. Those guys sound like some good people, hippies or not. We all want to have fun, but in the end we are still at the mercy of laws, respect and other limits. I've thought about picking up the Lagunitas book. Bought myself a tablet and I kind of like having things to read on there.

I read the book, and enjoyed it. Magee came off as a bit self absorbed I thought. But he's very colorful and entertaining. I also read Beyond the Pale (Sierra Nevada) and Beer School (Brooklyn Brewery). Both great books.

Good read. I'm sure California will legalize it in the near future.
