1) you can be outside with just a Tee shirt or a light long sleeve shirt and no need for Long Johns anymore.
2) You see no snow anywhere.
3) You can fire up the grill and cook something.
4) You get the garden tractor out and roll the lawn.
5 You see green Grass and see and hear the birds.

The boat isn't frozen into the harbor. And hasn't been for at least 4 weeks.
It's warm enough for paint to dry.
My hops have sprouted.

I just got home from the campgrounds from opening up the camper and getting ready for the season!

I'm cutting the grass twice per week.

I've been cutting the grass once a week for a month.

I stopped shoveling snow twice a week.

The thunderstorms move in and the sky opens up within 20 minutes of you thinking "hey it's finally sunny and dry enough to mow the yard", which is now 2 weeks over due for mowing.

the dry spot ain't reached us yet.

Besides having to mow the lawn instead of shovel snow:

I can ride my bike without feeling like I'm doing cyclocross due to lingering piles of snow and rock salt that jump out in front of me.

The bugs are hatchin'.

Everything is covered in pollen.....

I can go into the garage brewroom and not have to turn on the heat
I feel like going into the garage brewroom
The temperature in my office goes into the upper 70's when AC isn't on
I just feel more optimistic

False alarm - it snowing really big freaking flakes right now
