Black Rye malt

I'm trying to find out what black rye malt is. Is it crystal rye, chocolate rye, a higher kilned rye, roasted rye? Seems Weyermann chocolate and caramel but nothing listed as black rye.
So, does it exist?

The only thing I can make out from this is that it is heavily kilned rye malt, likely just a specialty that offers slim to no conversion, but just color and flavor. I don't see anything online saying such a name for a malt exists, just the name of that beer from Founders.

I saw that and it only caused more questions to me. Perhaps it's many of the things I've mentioned but just called different names.

Possibly roasted as intensely as black patent malt, but with rye instead?

RedBEERd just called from the LHBS and I spoke with the owner and he tells me it's called Chocolate Rye and should be used much like regular, chocolate malt.
