refractometer works! yay!

did a NB palmer's elevenses... partial mash... used stirring at 30 min intervals. got 80% efficiency. yay! i know it isnt a huge beer but it was nice not having to wait for a sample tube to cool etc... and hitting just over my OG was cool too. now if only it wasnt 90F with 97% humidity and wasps bothering me every 5 minutes... and stupid ants trying to crawl up the blichman...
