What is your typical OG and IBUs? I'm trying to devise a recipe but I'm worried I may be leaning too far to the sweet side.

There is an
Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Stoutthat was brewed by someone in my Homebrew club that has about a 38 IBU and an estimated OG of 1.056. I've been meaning to brew this but haven't yet. It's a great beer but a little on the sweeter side of things.
The Vanilla Imperial Stout I brewed before Christmas had IBU of about 18 and a OG of 1.095.

I've not brewed a sweet stout, but my Rum Barrel Stout was around 1.054 with IBUs at 35. Used Cluster at 60 for 22 IBUs and EKG at 20 for 13 IBUs.

I actually got a bit of advice a few nights ago from a member of the local Homebrew club. The beer that I plan to brew actually is not a stout, but because of the ingredients that will be involved, it is the closest style I could liken it to.
Lou and Inkleg, thanks for your input. The biggest thing I was curious about was the IBU/OG ratio so that I get a feel for how sweet I think the beer should be.
I've already worked some numbers and ingredients in BeerSmith so when I get a chance, I'll be brewing.

I wish I could offer more specific feedback, but here's what I can say. I had a stout last year that I had intended o be an American Stout, but it was under-attenuated with OG = 1.062 and FG = 1.022, but I still thought it was tasty, so I entered it in a competition as a Sweet Stout. It scored 34, with no complaints of being out of style.

Re-reading the question, predicted IBU was 76. Unfortunately actual IBU is the one basic parameter that can't be measured very well.
