Screwy you've done it again

I have never quite understood what the benefits of a beer gun were. When I started brewing I heard about it but because of my ignorance at the time the person that was talking about it scared me from even thinking about it! Now ScrewyBrewer's article on his site really helped to clear up any confusion or fear in using this tool. As I get more into kegging I am certainly going to look into getting a Blichman Beer Gun.

Thanks for the great article!

Got one and love it! The ability to purge the oxygen out at the beginning and the end of the fill is what I like most.

Me too! I admit that, for me, it's not worth moving things around and using it for just 2-3 bottles so when I 'beer-gun it', I try to do so for a bunch of bottling. But, it does make things much less messier and though not uber fast, it just works.
Like most other things brewing, having someone help is good. Even if it's just for capping. But everything Blichmann comes at a somewhat steep price.
