Cool Brewing Fermentation Bag

I just bought one of these cooler bags from MoreBeer. It should be here friday, it kinda looks like just a big soft sided insulated cooler which I guess that's what it is. I'm needing something to help keep the fermenters cool during these summer months. I had bought a 48qt styrofoam cooler for my Mr. Beer LBK's, yay $5-6 at Menards Hardware. That worked okay for one LBK, might have to get another one, but it wasn't big enough to hold the BrewDemon LBC or two of the LBK's. Then I'll be able to get the Wild Spirit IPA (1.7kg), Twisted Monk Witbier (1.7kg), and the Shedu Oatmeal Stout (1.7kg) fermenting.

I have 2 of those and they have served me very well. But since I got my freezer, I now longer need both of them but I keep them around just in case.
You do have so swap ice bottles out twice a day but I can vouch for them working. One summer it allowed me to keep a beer at 56-58 degrees though getting it started takes about 24 hours.
They are pretty well built but the zippers can break if you are rough with them.

Interesting. May need to keep that in mind. My next venture after I get my new brew rig set up and going is a way to lager.

I used mine to ferment for the first time. It wants some fine tuning, but works well. The basement is about 74 now, and a couple of ice packs kept a 1.050 wort with US05 at 66-68 during ferment. The ice brought it down from 75 to 70 in 4 hours after chilling with hose water. I'm happy with it.
