Anybody try this? I saw it in cans yesterday and it sounded interesting. The only reason I didn't grab any is because I have a lot on hand right now.

Ok, since nobody was ANY help here ( [emoji14] ) I picked some up because I had room for them. Good reason, right?
I actually had this last Friday so I'm working off memory here -
Poured very clear, especially considering it is a wheat beer. Highly carbed - to style. Thick, white fluffy head that pretty much never left. Wheat beers tend to do that and this didn't disappoint one bit.
I was hoping for more Simcoe in the aroma since they used it for dry hopping, but once I got past that I enjoyed this. It doesn't have the typical esters or phenolics of a wheat beer but it did have a nice hop flavor to it without approaching pale ale or IPA territory. It was crisp, clean and was enjoyed on a hot summer evening with a burger and my wife and dog on the porch. Wife not pictured, sorry
I'll have another one soon and post the review at the same time so I have more details but this is what I recall right now.

I have not seen it anywhere around here, so I was unable to be your guinea pig

I've only seen it in one place and I couldn't resist. As much as I love IPAs these days it's nice to get away from them for a bit and get back to basics. A while ago I went out and bought a bunch of ambers and pales and it was great.
This was a nice change of pace and I'll make sure to review it again in real-time when I open another one.

FYI: I really enjoyed some Southern Tier "Hop Sun" when I was taking a break from cycling last week. It was a very refreshing hoppy wheat beer (but not IPA like either).

Yeah, I hear good things about Southern Tier. And I've had a number of hoppy wheat beers...I like the style.

I forgot to review in real-time but I've had two more in the past 2 weeks and I don't think I like it. It's very different from the first one I had. It's now very much like a typical wheat beer and it's heavy on the clove - to the point of over-powering the hops. Maybe my taste buds vary day-to-day but I didn't drink any of them with anything I would consider spicy that would influence the taste.
So...bottom line after three of them is: I wouldn't buy/order it again. But if you like clove in your wheat beers you will likely like it. YMMV.
