That makes me want to take up kegging just so I can experiment with helium.
Funny post. Thanks.

Laughing my ass off just seeing how hysterical they got! Gonna try and find a small volume of helium and try to get it dissolved in a 2.5 keg that is almost kicked!

Does the fact that they released the ad on 4/1 tell you anything about it?

I don't care if it's a April fools joke or not. It's still funny as hell.

I'll take your word for it. I assume the link is flash, since it won't play in any of my browsers. Why does flash still exist?

There's some cuts just before they drink the beer, but they seem to speak normally before drinking the beer and oddly afterwards. Interesting...

To spread viruses, and root kit unsuspecting Mac owners who don't have a virus scanner because they think they don't need one.

Flash is really good for that.

I'm assuming everyone knows that this is an April Fools vid, but if not, here's the history on it.

They are allegedly drinking HeliYum, which was Sam Adams' April Fools joke vid/product from last year (2014).

Here's the original Sam Adams vid:

The vid that's gone viral recently (linked in the OP) has the beginning clipped out of it, where they explain that they are tasting the Sam Adams "product". The original review vid dropped for April Fools this year (actually, they posted in on 3/31, but..). I assume they clipped it and reposted it a) because the original review was so long to get to the joke, b) because if it was made clear what beer they were allegedly drinking, people could easily research it and determine its veracity, and c) to remove the 4/1ish date stamp.

The original unclipped vid, with Sam Adams context:

Though the original vid did pretty well with 600k+ views, the new one has already eclipsed it, getting nearly 1m views in the last month. So their reposting strategy obviously worked out well. Funny, but definitely fake.

Flash gets a lot of hate, maybe because it's so often used for spam and popups. It really is an amazing app to work with though and there's a TON of stuff you can do with it: make art, games, websites, slideshows and even make cartoons of pretty much any length with full audio: something I want to do, if I ever have time. And you don't have to export projects as Flash files, you can export HD video codecs as well, for YouTube, etc.

The later versions of Flash can even export your project as HTML5. So a lot of the HTML5 content you encounter was likely made in Flash. Creating in Flash is like using a visual art pallet, whereas creating with HTML5 is all done in code. So for visual types, like myself, Flash is still quite viable."
