baby gas drops as termcap/5 star replacement?

I was researching 5 star defoamer vs fermcap-s and found references to using baby gas drops as replacements.

Apparently, 5 star and termcap are mostly simethicone so the baby gas drops are about the same thing.

Has anybody done this? Thoughts?
