2015 BeerBorg Fantasy Football League

Calling all Fantasy Football players! The league is set up and ready to go. If you played last season, you should have received an email from me a few minutes ago. Let me know if you don't want to participate this season and I will remove you from the system. For anyone else interested, here's the scoop.

We use Fleaflicker.com as our league software. Last year we had 10 people participate, but I have changed the format to allow up to 24 this year. Whatever the final number is, I will align the divisions to have the same number of teams. No cost to enter, and I will try to secure some fabulous prizes for 1st and 2nd place again this year (Last year, Sam from BrewDemon was kind enough to donate two 3-gallon conical fermenters).

So how do you enter? PM me your email address, and I'll send you an invite from FleaFlicker. Follow the instructions to create your team account (if you don't already have one). The cutoff for signing up will be August 24. I don't have the draft date set yet, but it will probably be either August 30 or September 6 in the evening. It will be a live draft, but you can set up your lists ahead of time and the system will auto draft for you if you can't make it.

Post any other questions here and I'll answer them as best as I can.

Looks like I have confirmation from everyone I listed above, so we are at 13 right now. There is one more invitation out there for MrBandGuy, but haven't seen him log in to Fleaflicker yet. I am capping the league at 14, so when I get confirmation from him I will set the draft order and align the divisions. Planning to have the draft this Sunday night at 7:00PM CT. More details to come...

Divisions have been set and the draft is scheduled for this Sunday, August 30 at 7:00PM CT. No worries if you can't make the draft time. Just set up your lists ahead of time and the system will take the best available from your list when it's your turn. Otherwise, plan to log in 5-10 minutes ahead of time to make sure you don't have any issues.

Well, this isn't about the borg league but i'm pretty happy with how my team turned out this year. I panicked for my 2nd pick and couldn't determine between the 2 people I wanted and timed out. FYI, if you have a player in the Queue that you want to get later in the draft make sure they are at the bottom of the list. My computer froze with 15 seconds left and when I got back in there I got autodrafted and it picked Marcus Mariota!!!!!!!!

Otherwise I recovered nicely from that. Here is my starting line up for a PPR league:

Pretty excited about this group. I am typically not a fan of running Cam Newton out there but he had a really good season last year and I think he just keeps getting stronger. Got a lot of strong backups too.
