Just checking in

Post by Banjo-guy »

Hi all!
I've been wrapped up in home improvement and family issues and haven't brewed in months. I received a Pico Brew for a retirement gift and have only brewed one batch. Its carbonating as we speak.

It's great to see that the forum is so active and that there so many new members.

Once I get back to brewing I'll post some feedback about the Pico brew. My initial impression is that is a nicely though out system. It is pricey.
Hoppy IPAs need to be tweaked to get the " in your face " hop brews that hop heads love.

Most of the IPA feedback is what I've read on the Pico Facebook page. I'v only brewed the included Pico Pale Ale.

Glad to see all is well. Looking forward to your opinion on the Pico Brew system. Lots of new equipment being discussed the last few days on the forum.
Did you say "Hoppy IPA's"? I thought someone was calling my name.

Always good to see you, Banjo. I know what it's like to have home improvements derail things on the homefront, but it'll be over eventually, and you'll get back to brewing and posting on the Borg. We'll still be here when you do, so don't be a stranger.

Hi Banjo-guy don't you hate how home ownership seemingly hates beer brewing. Been there; in the middle of that (darn it).

Keep making time to check in 'cause it's amazing how hard it is to catch up with all of your friends here, though I've never had that problem.

How cool it is that we have a Borgie that got one of the Pico's; remember when the thread on them was alight; we would sure all love to follow your adventure(s) with it.

Good luck to you and remember to keep your digits out of hammers way.

Nice to see you Banjo. I just ended a bit of a dry spell myself. Here's to good brew in the bucket! :mug:
