Okay Ladies and Gentleman it's time to sharpen those pencils and scour the power rankings.... it time for NFL Borg Survivor 2015 :hammer:  :hammer:

Here is the excerpt BB2 posted for the first round in case anyone needs a rules refresher...
OK. BB2 here. Let us begin the NFL season :jumpy: with a simple game for EVERYONE. Anyone can play.

Here are the ONLY rules: EACH WEEK PICK A WINNER - choose any team playing against any other team. Post your picks in this thread. iF THAT TEAM WINS YOU PROGRESS. Next week pick another - but ONLY if you were correct. Losers may not post here the folloiwng week (well, trash talk's OK).

BUT THERE'S A CATCH - you can only pick each NFL team ONCE. So don't burn your Superbowl Favs too early!

This will be a SELF-POLICING game - no bloody overworked commissioner (thank you Glen, God Love You). We will all verbally BEAT you if you cheat. So no fast ones, please.
PARTY ON!
Past BBFFL Champion (for now)
EDIT TO ADD: BB2 wanted me to clarify that multiple Borgies can pick the same team each week but individual Borgies can only use a team once (unless there is a reset).
ALSO remember that you must post your pick at least one hour before your teams kickoff.

Good Luck to all and happy hunting.

Posting twice on purpose.

In order to get those competitive juices flowing I'll risk a one and done.

I'll pick Minnesota to survive the Levi Stadium Turf Debacle since the 49ers coudln't even practice in their own stadium. :o

:muahaha:

Let's see if I can get past week 1 this year...

Bengals over the Raiders.

Also, this was pretty far down the page, so I'm going to pin it to the top of The Brewhouse section for the season.

I hate to do this as a Giants fan, but I'm going to go w/ DAL over NYG for week 1.

CC you must have been gnawing on your knuckles there right at the end. :p

BB2 awaits a reset. ;)

I won't know 'till it is all over, we don't get ESPN.

If these injuries keep up we'll be rooting for practice squad players at the wild cards. :o

I would have gladly been ousted from the Borg Survivor Pool in exchange for a G-men victory, but it was frustratingly not to be. As a friend of mine who's a Cowboy fan said (yes, I actually associate with people who like the Cowboys....a character flaw of mine), last night was the kind of game that would've gone the opposite way a couple of years ago. But these days, the Giants can't do anything right, and the Cowboys can do no wrong.
