Alabama Brew Off
Entered my "LittleRyePA"
and Yellowhouse IPA
Both tasted great at bottling time
specially The Rye
I'm feel pretty good about both
But mostly just want to get in that first competition

Good for you for entering. And good luck. The judges feedback can sometimes be invaluable.

Good for you. It takes a bit of bravery to put your beers up for dissection. The feedback can only improve the beer, right?

Good job in deciding to enter, and best of luck in your results! You should get a good objective review of how your brews match the styles that you are entering, and should receive good feedback on how to address any issues and get your brews to be even better. Bragging rights from placings are nice, but the feedback can be even more valuable. Even on the occasional times when I have disagreed with a judge, I still found ways to improve my beers based on someone having perceived the beer as the judge did.

Good for you! I wish you success. I have found some judges remarks helpful, others frankly useless. But I'm not sorry that I've entered competitions. On the whole it is an interesting and positive experience.

Good luck with the comp. Take the whole experience (especially the results) with a grain of salt. All competitions are not created equal. All judges are not created equal. Overall, you have to remember these events are volunteer basis most of the time with a lot going on. Sometimes the judges are just ordinary brewers, somtimes they are actual judges...and either way they are human. So results may vary.
Either way it's fun and interesting to get the feedback for a beer you put out there.
