I was at my local Big Y supermarket and they were selling off their summer supply of "lobster" pots. A 5 gallon stainless pot that would be perfect for steeping, small brews etc. Normally $24.99 now priced at $6.99. If you're like me, you always have brewing on your mind, and may be able to "repurpose" something for cheap.

Damn that's a STEAL! I'd love to have one of those, especially priced that low. I could do full volumes like my last batch with enough room that I don't have to worry about a boil over.

Absolutely buy that pot. If nothing else you can use it for heating your strike water.

My wife bought me one a few years ago when I started brewing, at a normal price. I do use it for heating strike water though...
