I saw this as well. Another CA brewery snatched up. In recent months that makes: Firestone Walker, Lagunitas, St Archer and now Golden Road.

I've seen their stuff in cans around here but have yet to give them a shot. Like the others the hope is that they get left alone and InBev just uses their money for distribution.

I'm really starting to wonder when we'll see all of this hurt the smaller craft breweries. It's bound to happen if the big guys keep gobbling up the smaller guys. It always happens and craft beer is no different. May take a while but in 10 years or so when the new crop of craft beer drinkers are plopping down money, they won't care because it will seem normal.
Tis a shame.

Well I don't know where they're getting the money from to make all these buy-outs; the financial news keeps reporting that sales are way off. I doubt a handful of micros is going make up all the profits and they likely loose a lot of customers who quit buying when they read this kind of news.

Why they're pour all those buy-out dollars into Cali is also odd when you consider that the fall out from the drought may do a bunch of them in anyway.

I know one thing I'd hate to be a business owner that buys from them and has to write their checks to InBevCoorsMillerCarlsbergMolson---- when all this is done. :p

This brewery is like a mile from my house. Sub-par craft beer (my opinion). Other than if someone invites me to the brewery I don't really ever go there because their beer tends to be slightly to extremely underwhelming.
Sounds like, soon, Midwest and eastern Borg members will be able to buy "ok" beer....Yay?
