Great game for WVU. Unfortunately for me, I am a Maryland Alum!!

Maryland needs to give up on Randy Edsall. He did a great job at UConn with what he had, but hasn't produced at a bigger program. Maryland now has deep pockets, right?

Sorry doc. I must say, they are stuck in a tough place with DC and Baltimore pro sports. Similar to Pitt. They can't get any traction competing with the Skins and Ravens.

That said, I lived in Greenbelt MD for a year after college. The MD stadium was pretty lame - I guess it's better now. To Pudge's point, they seem to be alumni loaded with that Under Armour dude. He can spend til the cows come home.

You are right that they should have deeper pockets now, but I still can't believe the move from ACC to Big 10. We were founding members of the ACC. Living in Indy, I will get to see more of their games, but just like Indiana University, Maryland has never really had any long term success in football.
