I was cleaning out garage.....and I came across a box of Mr beer cans of different malts and such......all are expired about a year or more. There is about 25 to 30 cans.
I'm sad I didn't brew them, but hopefully someone would want them. Hopefully I can attach a pic.
Buyer pays shipping

Some of those are HMEs, but some are UME (Unhopped Malt Extracts). Also, I'm very, very surprised that they expired in 2014 given that Mr. Beer discontinued all of them in late 2012 and some of them before that. Are you sure you're reading the cans right?

You could do what I did when someone gave me a few cans they picked up at a Thrift Shop. I brewed them all in one batch-with some added hops and called it "Thrift Shop Beer".
It wasn't bad at all.
"Garage Sale Beer" should be good too.

Correct.......some are HMEs and others UMEs........most expired last summer, only a few in 2013.........
Shipping probably costs to much to ship this many cans.......
Oh well.......thrift shop it is.......might drop off at local brew shop

Why not brew something up? They may be a bit darker and the flavor profile may have changed a little, but lme doesn't really spoil.

Some of the really old ones might not ferment out as well due to maliard reaction changing the sugar chains. My suggestion for anything really old is to brew them slightly over intended volume and add some dextrose (or old booster bags if you have some of those hanging around) to bring it back up to intended abv and dry it out.
Or use Bella Saison. It will eat anything. It's like Mikey.

astrobeerman, I would try to use them up if it were me that had them. Yes shipping would probably be more then they are worth now.
And while you are here, Where the heck you been for over a year? We missed you and we didn't have a Secret Santa last year and I was thinking I'd try to get it going again this year. Hate to take your thread OT (it happens a lot here
) You still cooking in your UDS?
Don
Edit: get all new yeast for these and throw the fromundas in the boil.
