Jim and I finally got our thoughts together and figured out what we are going to brew. Since both of us have been pressed for time we decided to do something a bit easier and less time consuming then a full boil AG brew but still offer a learning opportunity for both of us. What we decided on is an "Belgian Style Abbey Cider" Apple Cider. This offers a lot of the same brewing practices that we are used to but cider has it's own nuances.

The recipe uses East Kent Goldings hops and Abbey Ale Yeast and is fairly easy recipe with a minimal boil/simmer time which is just what Jim and I were looking for.

Unfortunately I can't share the recipe publicly since it is a test recipe from Emma Christensen. Stay tuned as we get this won brewed. :orderbeer:

Hmm... if my Graff turns out somewhat decent, I could see an "Abbaye Graff" in the future.
