RCE update - MrBandGuy and FedoraDave

With a few fits and starts, we're nailing down our recipe, and I'm pretty excited about it. A variation on one of MrBandGuy's recipes for an American West Coast Red, we're adding rye and switching the hops out with some New Zealand varieties to make a kind of hybrid Red Rye.

It should be an interesting beer when we're done, and I'm really hoping for success in making it another great RCE addition to the ever-growing Fedora Brauhaus stable of house brews.

I hope all the other participants are as eager about their collaborations. Thanks for getting involved!

Interested to see how the NZ hops play with Rye.

So are we! It'll be a bit more tame than a typical hop forward rye PA we figure. Or it'll be confusing to the palette. Only time will tell!

I'm brewing this today! I'm really interested in tasting the result.

I'm resurrecting this zombie because I'm finally getting around to brewing it. That only took, what, 6 months!

It was a pretty good beer, as I recall. Overall, though, I'm not a big fan of the fruity hops, especially if they're contributing the primary flavors to a beer. That's just my own preference, though. YMMV.
