Wow, It's been 11 weeks.....

I know it's not that big a deal, but that's how long it's been since I last signed into the BORG
!
I see lots of new faces, err..... names, I should say, and want to say WELCOME!
It's been at least that long since I've brewed and I'm trying to get back in a large way.
I've been working 10-12 hr days, mainly to save money for a cruise SWMBO and myself
are going on in Feb. but also for my brewing habit.
I've been saving my pennies and finally sprang for a two tap kegging kit this week!
I like many of the BORG, am tired of bottling. Too much time and work.
So, when the wife's aunt purchased a new fridge and I inherited the old one, that was all the push I needed to
finally do it.
I'm off this weekend so I'm gonna do an Amarillo/Citra brew for my first kegged beer about three weeks from now.
Totally psyched!
Looking forward to hanging out more and learning more, as time permits!
Thanks BORG
.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming!

Good to see you again. You're going to love kegging. I just started myself. My first one is close to being empty.

I'm glad you're back. I know how it is when life gets in the way of things. I go through it to some extent myself now and again.
And congratulations on getting an opportunity to brew again, and especially on the kegerator! I've been kegging for a little over a year, and it's so much better than bottling. You're going to love it.

I knew you popped in on an irregular basis at times but I did wonder if you'd been gone a bit longer than usual.
Go........and........come.......and.......go......again.....You are
and that will never change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once you start kegging, you won't be reneging.

Really looking forward to the kegging thingy!
I'll have to find the threads on that so I won't be asking redundant questions!
BrewBirds, where did you finally settle? Still in Roanoke or parts unknown?

Welcome back, you will love kegging. The only time I bottle now is to send off or competition.

Hey TT,
Still in Roanoke; just got an extension on our lease and keep dashing to Greenville to look at newly listed stuff.
At least we found out that the landlord will hook us up with someone so I don't have to shovel snow again (Still have to do something about the broken heart valve). BLEH

+1 to the shoveling hookup! My driveway is 60' long and last year I hurt a finger pushing/shoveling it. Just now starting to heal.
The broken heart valve is repaired how?
I have a heart murmur they are doing an ultra sound every year now and eventually I may
have to have a valve replacement.
Hope everything goes well!
