Lost Morebeer (FedEx) shipment

Crap, I had my next few brew days planned out. The supplies for my next three were on their way via Morebeer/FedEx. I checked the tracking number this morning (Sun) and it said the shipment had been delivered at noon two days ago. Somebody got grains, but not me.
Here we go wrestling with customer service. I don't have much hope. Been down this road several times before with my local FedEx hub and have yet to see any of the packages.

You can put in the tracking number when you get it and FedEx will email updates throughout the shipping process.
Also, MoreBeer is responsible to deal with them, not you.

Only trouble I have had shipping was with Fedex one time I had a package going to comp and I guess one of the bottles broke in shipment. Since it was damanged it got help up until I could talk to customer service. I told them just to ship it anyway, they never asked about the contents and I never said anything about it either. I'm sure they figured it was beer by the disctive smell of the liquid leaking from the box. They probably have a don't ask don't tell policy...deep down I'm sure they would not want to lose out on the money they make off of us as brewers.
Sorry to hear it Pudge, hopefully it's something that can be resolved.

Rick's right, the company that ships the package has to make the request to the shipping company. What they should do is immediately ship another package to you while they find out what happened.
This time of year there are lots of people following UPS and Fedex and stealing boxes from people. They don't have to drop off packages in certain areas they deem are likely for theft but that changes from time to time.
Sorry this happened. I know the feeling all too well.

Sucks to hear. If it helps, I'm still awaiting a shipment notification from Homebrewsupply.com. Great Black Friday sale, but apparently terrible service. Same day shipping my a*s. I'll wait it out, but won't use them again.

Already got an email from Morebeer wanting to verify my address because they are reshipping my order tomorrow.

Gotta love Morebeer, why they get my service most of the time. Great customer service!

If you are in West Virginia it might be on the side of the road on I 81 somewhere near here! I've never seen so many 18 wheeler wrecks reported on the AM news before and a crazy lot of them are the 2 big delivery boys.

A. People sign for packages when they steal them from the side of the road.
B. Packages involved in accidents are counted as delivered.
Is the recipient, Mr. Asphalt N. Shoulderweeds, Pudge?

FedEx driver called me at work. He recovered the original package from a "nasty neighbor". He also had the makeup shipment from Morebeer. I told him to deliver the original to my house, return the second, and thanked him. Sent an email to Morebeer with much appreciation for their efforts and apologize for the inconvenience.

What was your neighbor doing with it? And why was he so nasty?

Most neighborhoods have that one neighbor that just doesn't get along with everybody else... mad at the world... whatever. Well, this guy is ours. They get along with nobody. He and his wife are retired and home everyday. He accepted the delivery and kept it for several days obviously with no intention of walking it across the road or at least picking up the phone. He kept some misdelivered Christmas gifts for my daughter a couple of years ago even after the FedEx driver told him he recalled dropping them off at his house.
On the upside, the package was unopened and everything seems fine. Gps data makes it a bit harder to lie these days.
A-holes will be A-holes.

What a dork. I know people just like that too.
Glad it worked out in the end.
FedEx should have put a sticker on your door alerting you where it was left or did I miss that?
