Second Line Brewing

Yesterday, a few of us went to try a very small and months old taproom/brewery called Second Line. Basically part of an old warehouse on a dead end street in an area of town that is old and making a mini comeback.
Some of their beer was out (after a busy weekend I guess) but I really enjoyed their 8.2% Russian Imperial Coconut Stout which only had a mild coconut flavor. Their RyePA was also extremely good and with each sip, I found myself saying how much I liked it. Really quality stuff.
I took a sip of their 'regular' IPA and it also was extremely good. The only thing I didn't care much for was the Pale Ale which they said had a strong, citrus and grapefruit aroma but I found none.
My Cali friends, who've spent lots of time perusing more small taprooms than anyone I personally know were also blown away.
Then, RedBEERd treated us to a nice meal afterwards. Ahhhh, I can get use to this kind of life.

Good find. Do they bottle as well or is it taproom only?

But hey, the twin paid! That's a good night, eh?

No, I can't see them bottling anytime soon. They do sell growlers. One gripe though is that they serve in 12 and 16 oz clear, plastic cups. There's been a few complaints about that.
The place did feel very inviting to us all. Just a simple, little place to chat and enjoy some good brews.

Don't expect that in Asheville! I need to save my money for beer.
