So I took some pictures of the progress of the storm. This was a pretty good one, especially for the Northern VA and DC area, who are not used to it. I saw areas near me with 36" of snow but I think a lot of it can be accounted for in snow drifts. When all is said and done I think it was near about 30" for us. Here are a few pictures from my house.

Husky being stubborn and not wanting to come in so he lays down in the middle of the deck on the snow.

Wow, not something I'd want to deal with but I guess it's good it came mostly on the weekend. And from what I've heard, not as many lost power as they thought would so that's good too.

Yea really. I love the picture of the Husky sitting by the door looking back up at you. He's saying..."Come on Dad, let me out. I want to play in the snow!!!!"

Totally missed Michigan (and even O_io). Too bad, love a good snowstorm. Great time to play with 4x4.

Well, that and the fact you all might run out of water altogether out there.

Missed us too on this one, but still have enough to keep the hubs locked in on the Jeep and the button ready on and off on the F150..........We are always ready for it, but in the places it doesn't happen much..... not so good for them.

I have a pic somewhere that shows it from the inside. We open the door and stick beer cans in the snow pack
