I'm envious of the choices they have in some states like North Carolina, Michigan, California and a few others. I am still amazed the growth has not stopped. I just heard that there are 2 breweries opening up in the US each and every day. I'm sure it going to slow down and change but I hope that's long after I'm gone.

I think the craft beer industry will be running out of names to name their new beers soon though. I figure with 4,400 breweries in the US now, each brewing 4 beers on average, at some point they'll need to get pretty creative coming up with new names for their beers.

We barely scratched the surface in the stops we made in Asheville!

Local landmarks, neighborhoods, brewer's names & street names are also a common source of craft beer names.

I’ll be in Raleigh in June. Maybe take an extra day and look up some refreshment!
