Time to brew Saisons and wheats for summer

Post by dbrowning »

I have 2 - 5 gallon saisons, 1 almost ready to bottle
And 1 keg conditioning right now
My next 4 brews over 2 weeks will be 2 more saisons
1 American wheat and 1 Gose
Also have 2 IPAs getting ready to drink and a pale ale and a witbier currently on tap

I just can't get that kind of build up
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

I'll start my Saisons and Belgians in late April/May. I might do a Bier de Garde or Bier de Mars again before that though. For now I will take advantage of my cool weather and lack of house brett to brew other styles.

Never a bad time for brewing saisons. I brew most of mine late summer so they can condition over the winter.
