This doesn't explain why I can't remember what I went into the room to get, though.

While I don't need a reason to drink, this is as good as any.
So hops are good, eh?

The last line is what struck me:
'In September 2014 scientists at Oregon State University found that very high levels of xanthohumol improved the cognitive function of young mice. However, they pointed out that a human would need to drink "2,000 litres of beer a day to reach the xanthohumol levels we used in this research". '
Drink up fellows.

Probably they were talking about American Macro beer. Now if you take Beer-Lord style IPAs, maybe it works better.

LOL.
Yeah, it occurred to me that a DIPA is more healthy than a BMC

Maybe we just pickle our livers before we have a chance to mess up anything else?

Hmmm, liver concerns. Is there a non-alcholic DIPA?

Not non-alcoholic, but close. Download that Brew Dog recipe pdf that was linked yesterday. Look at the recipe called "HOW TO DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY".
It is a lot like 3.5% Pliney the Elder.
So you could pound down a few of those.

" An Imperially Hopped Mild." - nice.
In terms of a 3.5% Pliny....they have a beer on tap only @ Russian River that is their Session IPA called "Dribble Belt".
And it tastes just like a session Pliny. I referred to it as Pliny the Little and I think I may even like it better than Firestone's Easy Jack - which has been the gold standard for a Session IPA in my book.

I've actually cut back on my use of hops and have really enjoyed the hoppier pale ales but have no fear, I'm working on making sure I don't get dementia though some here probably think it's too late for me already.

I am still here and will hop it up soon enough.
Tonite it's all about the Tale of Two Frankepales which could be some of the best quality beers I've brewed in a long time.

I love Pale Ales. I just kegged a Belgian PA, and have a Rye PA conditioning. But they may seem a little bland after the Pliny Clone I'm drinking.
Thanks Mash, I don't really want NA beer, or even session IPAs. But I don't seek out 8% monsters either. I like to stay about 5-6%. That's ABV, Not Blood Alcohol.

When anyone asks me what's my favorite style of beer, I tell everyone the same thing that I like them all. I can say for sure that, any style of beer instantly becomes my favorite for a time, as long as it's been brewed properly.
