Hey guys, just figured I would share a video I made... My first one ever so it's pretty bad and I was very nervous. Haha. I will make more in the future that hopefully turn out better. Enjoy!
Little more info: This is Northern Brewers Grapefruit Pulpin recipe. Obviously a grapefruit sculpin clone.. haha. One of my favorite beers so I am excited to see how it turns out compared to the original when done!

I don't have time to watch this now but I did subscribe to your channel and will watch this tonite. I watch lots of Homebrew Wednesday videos (ok, too much) and enjoy them all. I'm sure yours is fine. I can only say, without seeing this, just be yourself. You'll be a winner, I am sure.
Thanks for sharing this with us!

Good video. It was nice seeing how the Grainfather actually works. A couple things popped into my head and one I might try myself. I wonder if a 5 gallon paint straining bag would fit around the diameter of your pot. It'd be way easy to toss hop additions in then. Second, have you ever tried Fermcap-S anit-foam agent. A bottle goes a very long way and only a few drops per batch cures any possibility of a boil over. Real handy stuff.
Again, great video.

Jordan, I was able to watch the video during a lunch break and here are 2 suggestions if you don't mind me mentioning them.
First, you have to have music while brewing good beer
but for those of us who sometimes watch vids on an ipad, music too loud in the background can make it hard to understand what you're saying.
And, while spraying star san on a hot break is not be bad (I've even read where it can break down in the beer and act like a yeast nutrient), it's not needed as plain water will do the job just fine.
I don't mean to be picky and greatly appreciate the time you put into sharing this but thought I would just add my 2 cents. I'm also envious of the new equipment you have. I hope you get lots of enjoyable brews from it.

It's not just that I'm old, maybe deaf too. Having played in a rock band for 19 years did take some tolls on me and not only on my liver.

49* tap water!? MAN, I'm jealous!
My "cold" tap water comes out of the tap around 80*.
