Bear Naked ale

Post by Brian N- »

Had this one on tap, Lake George, NY by Adirondack Pub and Brewery. A bit lighter than I expected, but still amber. It was light on the hop bitterness and a little sweet. The body was fair and the head just barely there. However, it was OK for sitting outside enjoying fresh seafood. The beer finished with a hint of citrus, and was well carbonated. The pint did not last that long as I drank it quickly in the late afternoon heat. My wife had the Sam Adams summer seasonal - which would have been a better choice. Not a bad beer, but nothing outstanding.
