Fun day in the Ghost Stang

I was in the left lane. I ran against a Blazer with a 5.3 LS engine with a cam. My speeds were all faster than his but my reaction time killed me. Doesn't matter, 94 MPH in a quarter mile out of a car that gets 32 MPG on the highway pleases me.

He said in his lane he could hit the gas on the last yellow and his vehicle would start moving right on the green. I am 60 years old so I expect my reaction time to be a bit slow.

They charge $20 for the test and tune. It is fun to do once in a while. Just put my pedal to the metal and not worry about getting pulled over or someone pulling out in front of me. Just enjoy the ride, the feeling of being pulled back in my seat. And it is a lot cheaper than a ticket. The Ghost Stang is just a V6 but it is faster than the Mach I I had with a 351 Cleveland back in the 70s. It's not a hot rod by today's standards but it has enough guts to be fun to drive and yet be easy on gas and insurance.
