Can anybody beat this deal?

Post by Gymrat »

A friend of mine was given a refrigerator and wants to convert it to a kegerator. This is the best deal I have been able to find on the equipment to do it.

I have tried Midwestsupplies, Northern Brewer, Morebeer, ebay, and kegerator.com none have had a conversion kit as complete as this one and none have matched this price even without the kegs. Am I missing any sources?

That looks like a very good deal for sure! As long as everything is not cheap, chrome covered plastic.

KegConnection.com? This seems like a good deal, although I would upgrade to Perlicks vs. cheap chrome faucets.

We tried that but the perlicks are not available as an upgrade. I think it must be a package deal from the factory. Typically Beverage Factory lets you upgrade any part of an order.

One you may have missed is Adventures in Homebrewing http://www.homebrewing.org. Many times they will run good deals on the used kegs if they get a good shipment in. Over the weekend they had a picture of a zillion kegs so Im guessing they may have picked up a good deal. Strangely enough, the setup I purchased from a friend of a friend was from them when they used to be a couple of blocks down from me many years ago.
