It's neat to see the small guys are still innovating with everything they can get their hands on.
A couple of weekends ago I worked on a volunteer team to help clean up parks and public spaces in my area. The amount of trash we were finding in the river was scary and the majority of it was plastic. If we can find some more ways to reduce our waste that would be great.

Personally, I'll buy a six pack of loose cans (not bottles) if I had to with no worry but I'd also be ok if they made them out of chocolate and I'll dispose of the pack rings for everyone!

But you got to admit...
If you got to use rings, these are sweet!
I emailed one of the owners of a local micro brewery and asked that he consider spreading the word.
Wouldn't it be great if Nano, Micro and Craft Breweries nationwide could adopt something like this and champion it to an industry standard?
So says the Borg!

That would be great. I'd love to see these adopted widely.

We should all email our brewery contacts.
This is a Call to Arms for the Borg!

I'm certain Great Lakes would use these if they canned beer in the future. They are all about eco-friendly.

I didn't even really think about that. I emailed a couple of the local beers that I purchase in my area that have cans. It seems like most of them have the hard plastic connectors that go over the cans.
