Just wanted to give you a heads up so you can start planning your hops gardens!

Arrowhead Hops will once again be offering members only pricing on hop rhizomes! These rhizomes will be available after the first of the year for pre-order and usually ship in April for early spring planting. This is a good way to start growing your own hops!

Also they will soon be selling off their "extra" hops. Once they fill their brewery orders they will package up small quantities for sale on there website for individual purchase. The hops harvest has just started so we should know more about this in the next couple of weeks!

I am thinking of getting in on this this year. I'm really wanting to try my hand at it. And also thinking of buying and sending some to my dad so he can plant them in his yard because he's got a decent size yard with places for the hops to climb.

Will definitely get in on this. Just realized these guys are only 2 hours away from me. Perhaps we need a "Borg Ambassador" to give them a visit...

Just found out their Harvest Festival is this Saturday. May have to try to squeeze that in to the plans.

That would be awesome if you could go and represent! Please report back if you do go and ask for Andy while your there and let him know your from the Borg!

Louie, this is great. I am interested in buying them. Is this a hurry up and wait, heads up kinda message? I wasn't sure if the begining of the year is when the sell, or we have to put our names in now...

Yeah it's just one of the "hard jobs" the moderators do.
But it is kinda cool.

One thing I wish is that some of the more "exotic" hop varieties would become available to purchase rhizomes of, like calypso, saphir, etc.
