I went to a hop pickin party and got some hops. I am using my normal IPA grain bill and I'm going to just start throwing these hops in the last 20 minutes of the boil in order to fit them all in the cattle. I have 1.7 pounds of them. They're not dry they are garden fresh I'll put a picture up when I'm on my computer it's too hard to do with the phone.

I've had some wet hopped beers that were really good and some that were really grassy.

With regards to using wet hops... Would they yield best results if all the cones were sliced in half prior to use, so as to expose the resin?

You're probably aware of this, but wet hops are about 4 times as heavy as dry.

You can see the lupilin on the bottom leaves so I don't think so.

Yes that is why I used all 1.7 pounds in one beer. I figure it is probably the equivalent of 6 or 7 ounces of pellets.
